From Eyesore to "Eye-Adore"! : Scenes from the 2nd annual RVA Street Art Festival

The old GRTC (Greater Richmond Transit Company) depot on West Cary Street in Richmond needed a facelift. A major one. So,as part of this year's RVA Street Art Festival, a group of local and national artists came to the rescue - armed with paint brushes, spray cans, and a little creativity! Add perfect weather (a sunny 72 degrees), good food (Mrs. Yoder's donuts are irresistible!), and good people (several former GRTC workers were there to check out their old stomping ground), and you've got the key ingredients for a guaranteed good time! I couldn't resist pulling out my camera and snapping a few pictures...

Are there any unique festivals in your area? If so, fill me in!
